  2017年，全社会用电量63077亿千瓦时，同比增长6.6%。分产业看，第一产业用电量1155亿千瓦时，同比增长7.3%；第二产业用电量44413亿千瓦时，增长5.5%；第三产业用电量8814亿千瓦时，增长10.7%；城乡居民生活用电量8695亿千瓦时，增长7.8%。
  In 2017, the whole society consumed 6,307.7 billion kWh of electricity, an increase of 6.6% over the same period of last year. In terms of industries, the primary industry consumed 115.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 7.3% over the same period of last year; the secondary industry consumed 44413 billion kilowatt-hours, up 5.5%; the tertiary industry consumed 881.4 billion kilowatt hours, up 10.7% The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 869.5 billion kwh, an increase of 7.8%.

2017年，全国6000千瓦及以上电厂发电设备累计平均利用小时为3786小时，同比减少11小时。其中，水电设备平均利用小时为3579小时，同比减少40小时；火电设备平均利用小时为4209小时，同比增加23小时。

 2017年，全国电源新增生产能力（正式投产）13372万千瓦，其中，水电1287万千瓦，火电4578万千瓦。

 In 2017, the newly increased production capacity of power supply nationwide (officially put into production) reached 137.32 kilowatts and thermal power was 45.78 million kilowatts.
