Overview

The NT1756 protects lithium-ion/lithium-polymer rechargeable battery in the abnormal events of over voltage, under voltage, discharge overcurrent and charge overcurrent and over temperature (optional) for a 1-cell lithium-ion/lithium polymer battery pack. While any of the above abnormal conditions occurs, NT1756 turns MOSFETs off to protect the battery.NT1756 then turns into power down mode to minimize the current consumption when overdischarge protection occurs.
