事实上，随着中国劳动力成本的提高以及中国机器人市场的发展，不少的的中国制造业企业都开始走上了转型升级的道路。作为家电企业的领军品牌，创维早在2012年，创维集团的高层便提出并实施“机器人战略”，并将其上升为公司战略级长期规划，率先开启了自动化征程。据不完全统计，创维已持续3年在智能化和信息化建设上投入，占固定资产投入占比的50%以上，数额高达1.5亿元/年，占到每年营业额的0.5%以上，同时，创维未来还将加大投入力度进行智能化升级。

实施“精细化”策略创维引领智能制造
2017年，创维以“国际化、精细化、智能化”作为各产业的战略方向。其中精细化，就是通过智能制造工程降低成本，提高供应链整合的效率，依靠产品的质量和效率增长提升创维产品的市场竞争力。具体包括智能制造EMS、PLC、数字采集系统等的研究，新材料、新装备、新工艺技术，加快实现智能制造的目标，实现创维彩电、机顶盒等主要产品智能制造的水平达到工业3.0级，通过3年的努力争取做到4.0级。

根据智能制造的需要，创维一共规划了29个信息化系统，目前已经投入了15个，覆盖率达到50%以上。创维彩电事业本部副总裁、全球制造中心总经理 王德辉先生表示：“信息化系统是一个长期的过程，我们还会将信息化的建设继续向前推进，一直达到100%全覆盖，预计2020年全部完成，到那时候创维的智能化水平就非常高了，我们还将积极探索物联网大数据的应用。”
